Godzilla, Superman, and Me

I usually do not remember my dreams.  I have to commit a dream to memory upon waking to remember it.  I did so on 7 August 2018.

I was in a big, beautiful city.  The city’s edge was lined with handrails to prevent people from falling to the deep green sea.  It reminded me of the resort in the film Jurassic World except this city in my dream had many tall buildings.

I do not know how it happened, but I suddenly realized I could fly.  I flew through the city, trying to master how to maneuver through the air, unmindful of the people looking at me in awe.  In that city, I was the only person who could fly.  [Show-off!]

I flew past the edge of the city, to the vast green ocean, approaching the water only once, letting my hands break the serene surface of the water for a very brief moment and flying as high away from the water as I possibly could.  I was afraid a big shark or killer whale might swallow me whole suddenly.  I did not exhibit any other super power in the dream, maybe super speed while flying but nothing more.

From a distance, I saw a gigantic figure with spikes protruding from its back approaching.

I flew back to the city as fast as I could.  I hid in one of the buildings.  I do not remember if I peed and pooed in my pants during the flight back.  [Coward!]

I saw Godzilla tear through the buildings.  No person was hurt.  People had evacuated by the time Godzilla arrived.

Then, I saw people going up the exterior vertical and cage ladder of the building Godzilla was going to tear through.  They and I were the only people left.

I was afraid for my life, but I finally decided to help the people in danger.  I did not gain a super power for nothing.  I thought: What could the mere power of flight do to a monster who could swat me like a fly?  I could lure him to the sea where other forces of nature might suddenly appear.

The building the people were on was already crumbling upon my arrival.

A sinewy right hand with a forearm covered in a tight-fitting blue sleeve suddenly appeared out of nowhere, pulling the first man out of danger.

I flew to the side where the hand appeared.  It was my chance to see the sexy and handsome Kryptonian up close (and hopefully personal).  My hormones were on fire.  [Lecher!]

The alarm suddenly went off, shaking me out of my dream against my wishes.  [F#@k!]
